Statement of Faith
We formally recognize ourselves as Pagan Universalists. We hold
that the tenets of all earth-based denominations, though
through slightly different methods or names, all hold the same
values and morals through various manifestations of the same
rituals and traditions.
Thusly, we seek to provide an opportunity for the community of Earth-based faiths at large, to practice their beliefs and rituals, and the ability to learn from other Earth-based faiths other than their own. Through this diversity, we find common ground in thought and belief. We feel this should be used to facilitate respect and understanding within the community and for all human kind.
These beliefs, as such, are:
To merry meet, merry part, and merry meet again.
To keep sacred the eight Sabbats of the year, though known by other names, commonly referred to as: Samhain, Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lammas, and Mabon.
To hold true the Nine Noble Virtues, which are: Courage, Truth, Honour, Fidelity, Discipline, Hospitality, Self Reliance, Industriousness, and Perseverance.
To have reverence and respect for all living things and our Mother Planet.
To understand and obey the “Laws of Three”
To respect all regardless of belief, race, creed, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, or handicap.
To understand the different aspects of the Trinity: the Maiden, Mother, and Crone
An understanding of the elemental aspects of nature (earth, air, fire, water, spirit) and their associated power.
An understanding of the duality of God and Goddess, or various manifestations thereof.
To hold true, the principals of: “To thy own self be true”, and “An ye harm none, do what ye will”.
No truth is absolute.
The universe consists of opposites.
For every action there is a reaction.
We are all one, we are all connected.
The ultimate act of spirituality is creation through love manifesting in harmony.
What we give to spirit will return to us.
We must never close our mind to knowledge.
A circle is a holy place, negativity is not acceptable.
The body is used to channel and focus energy, tools are merely focusing aids.
Use common sense, to not teach the mysteries to fools.
Take full responsibility for your actions.
Be truthful and honest at all times.
Honor our ancestors and all that they have passed unto us.
Understand the importance and method of meditation and tranquility.
As no truth is absolute, we concur, that these statements accurately define the basis of our faith, in no particular order, but is in no way a limitation therein. We will eternally seek truth, justice, knowledge, and enlightenment. We will obey the laws of the land and our laws of morality.
So say we all, and Blessed be.
